I'm back from my Europe trip, and wanted to share an exciting package I got while I was away. I decided that I wanted to add some gold foil prints to my store. I'm new to this stationary game, but have always loved letterpress. I didn't really know where to begin. I searched through Google and eventually found a printer. I tried to find a local printer, but none of the printers I contacted emailed me back, so I worked with Mama's Sauce in Orlando, Florida. Three weeks later my prints arrived just in time for the holidays! I'm so excited for these prints, and can't wait to design more letterpress cards and prints. Get this print from my shop today and remember to stay golden!Continue reading
It's been a dream of mine for many years now to open an Etsy store, and today I can say that I finally made it happen! I'm super excited and nervous at the same time. I'm not sure what I'm doing and how all of this will work out, but I will find out soon.
It was a lot more work than I thought it was going to be and there were many times when I thought that I couldn't pull this off. Designing the card was not enough. I also had to think about materials, how I was going to print them, product photography, pricing, packaging, etc. I've been heads down the last couple of weeks trying to figure out how all of this would work and somehow put everything together. I'm excited to finally get my store setup and share my cards with you guys!
I've designed 14 cards just in time for Valentine's Day. The cards are prints of my original illustrations I painted using watercolor and gouache. I hope you guys get a kick out of them as much as I did coming up with them. Happy Monday and thanks for all of the support ramping up to this! Yay to new adventures!Continue reading
